DPP to Appeal Acquittal of Pastor James Ng’ang’a

The Director of Public Prosecutions will appeal the acquittal of poster James Ng’ang’a and three others in a case in which the pastor was charged with killing a woman by dangerous driving three years ago.

This is after Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i  wrote to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji and Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet requesting them to appeal the acquittal of Pastor James Ng’ang’a.

Matiang’i said that the government was dissatisfied with the ruling arguing the evidence implicating the pastor was overwhelming. This is after the court on Monday absolved Poster Ng’ang’a of wrong doing.
